Planning for every contingency, yes. Using worst-case scenarios as an excuse for inaction in the face of evil, never. Ukraine must win, and the sooner the better for the world. Our post-Putin plan to cure Russia of the imperial virus: foreignaffairs.com/ukraine/don

@mapto anybody in other imperialist countries with similar plans?

@tetrislife Give me a list of countries annexing territories in the 21st century and we can start looking into each case separately

@mapto what about the looting in the preceding centuries, on which the 21st century is built? The present human-rights-spouting world order hasn't come for free, and definitely hasn't paid for it itself.

@tetrislife sorry, didn't realise you're asking for "similar plans" from a couple of centuries ago, my bad

@mapto nice interpretation. But actually, forgetting yesterday is unacceptable; or would you be fine with Putin spouting democracy the day after the Ukraine conflict ceases? Imperialism has to be acknowleged, apologized and compensated for; the same way the West expects Russia to.

@tetrislife tell me also about en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whatabou . Because people are being killed because of someone's ill ambitions both in Russia and Ukraine as we speak

@mapto yeah yeah, asking about past imperialism is whataboutism. And what is avoiding talking about past imperialism? Denial?
