A bit worried that there's no mention of moderation on the landing page, nor obvious links to the community guidelines. That said, when you do find them on the account creation page the guidelines themselves look quite good for being a comment section.
Slightly disappointed that ORCID isn't supported as an authentication mechanism. Now there's yet another page on which to claim authorship.
Also, and maybe most important, it's not clear what this page will do if arxiv itself ever adds comments, which doesn't seem that impossible these days.

Issuing bonds with the Russian assets is not what is proposed, the collateral would still be EU assets.
Instead the idea is to service the bond payments using the interest on the Russian money, which makes putting in a collateral 'risk free', because the interest from the held assets would always cover the dues.
"The flow of income from Russia’s assets will continue. The EU could therefore launch and guarantee a vehicle whose debts are serviced using the income from Russia’s funds."

OpenAI responds to Elon Musk’s lawsuit suing them for converting from a non-profit to a for-profit entity by sharing emails showing he knew of those plans since it was the only path to generate billions in revenue. The disagreement was he wanted to be CEO and merge it with Tesla.

Recent genomic studies show that the parasitic fly Braula evolved within Drosophilidae, flies we know as the workhorses of genetics. See link.
The problem: Braula was named in 1818.
Drosophila was named in 1823.
By the rules of priority, if we organize taxa by their ancestry, then the correct family placement for *all* these flies, including everyone's precious Drosophila melanogaster, is in Braulidae, not Drosophilidae.

This is incredibly valuable research! Being able to obtain information on 548 out of 552 closed referrals is impressively-complete data collection.
Reidentification means the patient reidentifyies with their assigned sex at birth.
This study found that reidentification is uncommon (5% of closed referrals) and when it does happen, it almost always happens before or during the early stages of assessment (93% of cases).

There are still 30 prisoners we have in our little "outside international law" prison of Gitmo (which we basically took from Cuba during our colonial time of that nation). I remember being promised it would be closed in 2008

The entire invasion is a very hasty affair and military action is not free or frictionless, so there are physical limits to what can be achieved.
The IDF has been, and is, operating very close to the maximum it could plausibly do, already their air force and artillery is bombing so intensely that even with super sloppy computer generation they run out of targets.
There simply is very little space for escalating their brutality unless you think Biden is the only thing holding them back from open genocide. Thus the case for Trump being much worse is simply not as strong as you make it out.
