Reminder of something hardly mentioned but very important.
Check what keyboard app you're using on your phone. There's no point in using a secure messaging app if all your texts are written on Gboard.

idk. Its quite minimalistic. OpenBoard was just an example. I personally use the Microsoft SwiftKey Keyboard, because it's at least not Google whilst being as good as Gboard.
@torresjrjr Semi-good point. I've already accepted that the Google Overlords know everything about me (for now). Doesn't mean others need to know too, though!
That said, how well does OpenBoard work with multiple languages used interchangely? That was a major reason to go for Gboard.
