There are two types of bagels, and they are in no way related to each other other than outward appearance... you have bagels that taste better untoasted, and once you need to toast. I dont trust anyone who doesnt keep both types in the house at the same time!
@trinsec You are given a pass simply because I have never found a half decent bagel in all of europe. Pretty sure you need to have jews to have good bagels :)
