@Pat I haven't even checked YouTube comments yet, just did now.
The top comments that seem transphobic... seems to be the kind of comments that's like 'a trans woman shouldn't compete in women's sports'.
In a way I actually agree with that, because a trans woman, a person who was originally, biologically, male, has developed a different musculature in their life and thus would have an unfair advantage in many competitions against biological women.
See, we are all equal, but our bodies simply aren't.
Mind you, I hadn't even seen the subtitles before, it seems to be off by default in the player here. Now I've turned it on and when I read 'Or compete as a trans woman', it makes more sense to me why there might be a ruckus.
Is that maybe what @al1r4d is referring to?
@Pat But is there much of a game left if the stacks are so uneven?

My comment was metaphorical and general.
To the specific issue, there are plenty of ways to design competitions to make it more fair: relay races, team sports, handicapping, sports that don't rely on strength, etc, etc...
Or activities that don't need to be competitive at all, like dance, figure skating, etc...

It's not who wins or loses, it's who they let play the game.
