Fun fact about #Germany:
You have to renew your ID card every 10 years, yet your driver's license is valid indefinitely and very hard to revoke even if you're obviously unable to drive safely.

I know. I was booking rental cars abroad and when I picked them up, everywhere they asked for the expiration date. Obviously, I said "none". Had to show them the license before they believed me.
