Whew, my teeth are fine according to the dentist.

@trinsec Congrats! :D I know all about that pre-dental visit panic 😅

@johnabs Ugh, don't remind me. I've got dental problems every damn time just before it's time to make an appointment. (And every time it's false alarm)

I've told her that I'd like to go back to a half-yearly schedule again instead of yearly... lessee if my psychological bullshit will be less then.

@trinsec That's probably a good plan! I've been fighting with a recurrent gum infection, and I was panicking over jaw pain. Fortunately everything was fine, and I only had a few minor caries and no severe bone infection or whatever, but I'm getting wisdom tooth surgery in a few weeks and I'm kinda nervous about that :/

Do you happen to use a water flosser? I love mine and it, it helps me ease my anxiety regarding dental work, and to not gag when I floss, as I'm pretty sensitive to the "hair-like" sensation of floss...always have been since I was a kid 🤢

@johnabs I believe we call a water flosser a 'waterpik' here. Next week I'll go to the dental hygienist for a thorough cleaning of my teeth and I'll ask her if a waterpik is a nice option to have.

In itself I don't have issues using a rager (the dish brush mini-me thingy) but it's kinda hard to get into the far back with it. Using a normal floss for now for over there. But overall I brush my teeth very thoroughly so I don't generally have to do much extra work afterwards unless I feel something's not quite clean enough. It usually is good enough heh.
