Lately I’ve been blocked by several people I thought I had a good relationship with and I can’t figure out why they did it. Well, life goes on, I guess.
@josemanuel How do you know you’re blocked by them?
@trinsec Because I was following them, now I’m not and when I went to see their profile the Follow button was disabled.
@josemanuel Could be that the instance admins decided to block Qoto, kinda shafting their users with that too.
@trinsec BTW, I don’t get why qoto censors their own users if other instances are going to block us anyway just for being mostly a free speech one.
@josemanuel We’re not mostly a free speech one, it was always academic freedom but poorly worded before. I’d suggest to recheck our rules page as that’s been updated in the past few months. :)
@trinsec Yep, I noticed when they asked me to delete a post and I went back there to check.
@trinsec Maybe. In this last case, I think it was because I replied to them with a DM to a followers-only post. I just thought it made more sense than another f-o post to my own followers.
