Just got this free wifi mesh network kit in from my ISP and I've just set it up. If things are right I should have fairly reliable wifi upstairs now.

@mur2501 This is now basically a set of wifi boosters. Once I find the time to cable up this one upstairs (in this room) it'll be even better with wifi reception upstairs. It's already an improvement now to what I had before (read: Only one wifi point downstairs, nothing else).

It's never been a priority because the -only- wifi devices I have are my mobile phones.

@trinsec
For me I have two powerful routers on both the floors, it almost gets the signal to all over the house except the toilets :welp:

@mur2501
2 routers is generally not a great idea as they would conflict with each other. You mean more like repeaters/boosters/access points?

My router downstairs has a wifi point, but I've never bothered before to put up a mesh network. Until my ISP offered free sets that I can use for as long as I stay with this ISP (which is likely as I've been with them for over 10 years already).
