It took me this long to realize that while posts with #hashtags are usually worse than those without, the ones containing hashtags I care about make a really good feed. #mastodon #twitter

@trinsec I'm new here. It might be specific to Twitter, where marketers use hashtags a lot and ordinary folks don't really use them.
@mjambon Ah. Here hashtags are a necessity to have your posts be found in any search.
And most instances probably won't allow marketers, so that helps too. ;)
