I've bit the bullet and ordered a Steam Deck.

@Drosmel I'll need to arrange some kind of dock first for the Steam Deck if I want to hook it up to my monitor and keyboard+mouse, mmm. I have a bunch but those are with USB-A, not USB-C. How did you connect yours?

@Drosmel Yeah, but the Steam Deck only has USB-C, so you must be using some sort of dock to connect?

@Drosmel Right. I might consider that someday. First I gotta figure out how I like the Steam Deck. :)
Maybe I can mooch off a dock from my job, that'll work too. :D
@trinsec you may want to make sure your mouse and keyboard are Linux compatible too
@trinsec Neither had I. I actually hook my steam deck up to my TV and use a mouse and keyboard. I only use joysticks for "easy" games like shadows over Loathing. I do recommend downloading aperture desk job once you get your deck. It is a good intro to what it can do. And it's fun!
