@freemo When one finds the hidden gems is the biggest pleasure. This game's like reading a book, or watching a movie, all in one. A very good book and a very good movie. In fact, it could be a movie imo.

@trinsec I kinda get seeing a game as a book, in which case the game mechanics arent as critical. The problem is I find, as books, almost all games are really lacking compared to real books. Moreover I find them just too long-winded and slow when evaluating it as a book.

Its the same reason i prefer written tutorials over youtube videos. I can get the same information much faster and can skip the boring parts.

@freemo Can't quite compare it to tutorials (and I agree written is usually better). You have to see this as an interactive story, you have to enjoy the ride. Puzzling out things, 'I saw the staff behind that rock, how do I get it?' and have to walk all around the place. Oftentimes that's just annoying, but this game is interesting enough that it's thankfully doable. I'm meeting so many Norse mythical creatures there, and it's animated so nicely with animated cinematics too.

I love storytelling games.

@trinsec Eh I guess I just get bored with things easily.. Once I feel like im going throught the motions I loose interest in a lot of stuff.

@freemo This is a story-based game though.

But card battlers can draw my attention very well too. :)
