Uh.. wow. I won't be buying this brand of yoghurt anytime soon. Got this one for free from a supermarket scratch card, so decided to try this for dessert. This is even worse than the nacho meal. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Oh gods, I should eat something tasty now to prevent my taste buds from doing seppuku.

Mrmf, my cat didn't agree with me. He licked up the leftovers. :blobcatgooglyshrug:

@StroomAfwaarts Yeah right, I'm not the one doped up on painstillers and antibiotica. ๐Ÿ˜‹

@trin'sec@qoto.org the other option is, never buy a yoghurt from a supermarket.
strained yoghurt is, at least at supermarket-grade and according to my opinion, probably the worst dairy product; although i know someone using it as a substitute for cheese as they can't even stand next to cheese

@dinosauce You're lucky I checked the thread, you misspelled my @ mention name so I didn't get notified. :)

I like the full yoghurt from De Zaanse Hoeve, using that in my cereal daily.

Isn't strained yoghurt the kind that's almost solid? Like Greek yoghurt? This is more like a thick liquid, so not strained I think?

@trinsec yeah my mistake. but didn't think about notification part, on which i should have rather drafted the message. never again ๐Ÿ˜…
and yes, strained yogurt is solid (and has no salt), rather like a creme and totally not a yogurt (yeah it is -probably- made of yogurt and can be stirred and unstirred blah blah but). it was very long ago that i consumed an activia and was remembering it was something like strained yoghurt (i.e. "labne"). i also have no idea how netherlands dairy brands are.

@dinosauce You'd know more than I about this. ๐Ÿ˜…

I've eaten Greek yoghurt before, it was okay. Definitely more tasty than Activia. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

@dinosauce This one wasn't strained, it was scoopable and a thick liquid. Kinda similar to my usual brand of yoghurt. Definitely didn't taste the same though. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

@trinsec Uh... people don't eat activia for its taste, afaik.

It's a probiotic that old people use to help maintain their gut bacteria, lol.

@LouisIngenthron Surely there must be a less suicidical way to maintain your gut bacteria? ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

@trinsec From what I can tell, past a certain age, curdled milk starts tasting good.

@LouisIngenthron I said less suicidical! :blobcatshocked:

I'll stick to normal full yoghurt, seems healthy enough.
