A computer cannot plan the economy.
It doesn't matter how powerful it is, you have to take some political decisions which the computer cannot take.
Is it more appropriate to give a car to everyone or to produce only a few luxury cars or a mix of the two?
There's no way a computer can answer this question.
That said, it could definitely help the people taking those decisions to have a system that could show them what's possible and what the outcomes of certain decisions would be.
