This morning, when I heard #MissEntropy was awake, I went to her room, took her in my arms and put her in our bed — next to #BreakerOfHorses’s crib (we do this on lazy weekend mornings only). She was happy and lovely.
Immediately after sitting there between us two, she said: “I want #books… I want books.”
She’s only 2.5 and can’t even #read yet, but I consider 80% of my parenting goals accomplished already.

I went to get books for everyone and we four “read” in bed for a while, of course.
