@freemo it's unbelievable. It is not logical reality.
Maybe it's just a long running social experiment, that would make more sense.
@twotwenty to be fair he has sa8d some strange things about pedophilia, largely defending engagements with teenagers as different than with children.. it read kinda weird. Butnthey are takingnitnway too far
He is an awkward guy and has made peopel feel uncomfortable.
I followed the cancel culture toward him since 2021 (before then I never gave it much regard) and even before that I read his political notes and when not snippets he is generally making comments from an academic stance. The statements he made about consenting children and adult sex he revoked and agreed it cannot be good because a child cannot consent with adults because and adult is always in a position of authority.
The statements he made about stagitory law regarding state lines is accurate, if you cross a state line sex with a 17 legality can change.
and I believe pyscologists generally agree having sex with prepuberty children is much more psycologically damaging then with post puberty, my stance from the perspective of an adult male is it is wrong to have sex with children and teenages, but like murder there are different degrees of how evil it is. its all bad but some is far more bad then others.
@freemo Since I followed the 2021 cancellation of #RMS I did some research into all the things.
1. what he said about children and adults in sexual relationships he admitted he was wrong and that children having sexual intercoarse with adults its wrong since chidren cannot honestly be contenting.
2. The things he said about stagitory law is accurate the age does change when crossing state lines. it used to be 14 in Canada.
RMS is awkward and has made women feel uncomfortable but I do not think he is guilty of any crime other then opinions. In many of these cases people have even mis represented the truth regaerding his opinions to often.
@twotwenty That is largely my accessment as well.. he has said some weird or awkward things but nothing more than some weird opinions.
@twotwenty Why is Richard such a threat?
@twotwenty IT was disgusting.. I read it and got to the part entitled "Defense of Sexual Misconduct" and it starts by blaming him for basically saying people should be found guilty by a court of law before we make assumptions about an accusation.
Wow, this is a quite disgusting hit piece.
