The banning of parler sounds like a cartel of big tech companies engaging in anti-competitive practices to eliminate a potential competitor

To be fair, it's just the app being delisted from the Google App store. They have a mobile site.

@mathlover When the rail trusts in the 1890's banned people or companies those companies could always put their goods on horseback and ship them that way

@valleyforge As much as I agree that we need more control over our devices and freedom with app installation, mobile websites aren't *that* inferior to apps in this case and calling this censorship of Parler as a whole is disingenuous

It's not anticompetitive, since Google doesn't have a social media platform other than Youtube. Apple has no social media to speak of.

@mathlover Ah but the cartel includes facebook and twitter. I'm alledging that these big tech companies back each other up in attacking their competition
