Stripped screws happen because people use the wrong size screwdrivers. Those kits with a dozen different screwdriver heads are no joke.
@valleyforge or in the case of Phillips head, the screwdriver wasn't ever seated properly

@valleyforge even with the correct screwdriver, I'm not gonna outmuscle the guy who torqued it in at the factory using a pneumatic tool, and added loctite to boot. Especially if it has a Philips head.
