LockPickingLawyer is to locks what ForgottenWeapons is to guns

@gat Hey one hour means things are getting better. Or it was massively overpriced

@gat the savage automatics were very successful in the 1910's to 20's

@swiley Bread isn't an inherently low quality food. Often people add sugar too it but people have been eating primarily bread for thousands of years and the obesity problem is new

The Spartans were exactly as metal as hollywood believes

Ancient Spartan poetry:
"Let a man learn how to fight by first daring to perform mighty deeds,
Not where the missiles won't reach, if he is armed with a shield,
But getting in close where fighting is hand to hand, inflicting a wound
With his long spear or his sword, taking the enemy's life,
With his foot planted alongside a foot and his shield pressed against shield,
And his crest up against crest and his helm up against helm
And breast against breast, embroiled in the action—let him fight man to man,
Holding secure in his grasp haft of his sword or his spear!" - Tyrtaeus

I don't understand how leftists can use slogans like "the conquest of bread" when poor people in the US have an obesity problem

The coffee shop I go to has gone back to glasses instead of disposable plastic cups

@Diptchip dont get one of the beginner kits that come with like two dozen different picks. Just get one or two rakes, a basic hook, and tensioners. Everything else is unnecessary

@Diptchip i meant rotating barrel locking systems like the savage automatic pistols or the beretta px4. Also those cop derringers can go for a ridiculous amount of money for some reason

It has to be a delayed blowback because they made it in 45 and it didnt destroy every case put through it. Therefore bullet rotation is a legitimate form of delaying mechanism

I've been practicing lockpicking for a few weeks and I've yet to find a lock that I couldn't open with just a snake rake. Sometimes I have to flip it upside down to get pins that are cut higher up.

Someone needs to shoot a 1907 savage under a high speed camera to determine whether or not it's actually a delayed blowback action or just a blowback action

Why aren't rotating barrel pistols more common?
