@bich As discussed over years...verifiable training, including rules of engagement. Waiting periods. Enforcement (when needed) of gun controls in the home.
It's a problem when most Americans (gun owners or not) agree these are reasonable measures, but only some state legislators make these into laws.
::shrug:: Americans elected and generally reelected the legislators.
In the end it all comes down to who Americans elect and reelect, so they should probably start electing better lawmakers.
Or not. Their choice. Yay democracy!
