A big "amen"

A remote work benefit I love the most is the lazy morning. I don’t set an alarm. I don’t fight with crowds or traffic.

I walk my dog and roll into the day. Why in the world would this be seen as negative?

Like, am I lazy or do you just hate yourself?

@worldsendless depending on where you work, you can have a more relaxed start, traffic-wise even if not WFH. I played around with going to work earlier and later than the common herd just for this reason

@2ck it's a great plan. I enjoy it sometimes, too. But I struggle because I have a wife and two toddlers at home, and it doesn't play nice with the sleep schedules

@worldsendless aye, there's the rub. I've often thought we could really improve traffic situations if students had more self-directed education with flexible start times rather than the factory-like scheduling we have now
