@worldsendless The difference between "easy" and "simple" :)

People think Twitter is easy and Mastodon is not, because they're used to Twitter, they know how it works.

Both are simple, but sometimes people decide something is hard not because that thing is complex, but because it's different.

Although, signing up to Mastodon requires one extra choice compared to Twitter, where to actually host your account. Might make it harder for people.

I saw a post yesterday, where someone's elderly mum was able to register and send out her 1st toot, by herself! Personally I'm mid 70s and I had no difficulty. It's mostly in their minds and lack of research in my opinion.
