@freemo MUDs have a deep place in my heart. Some of my first programming and game dev experiences were working through a book on developing MUDs that my uncle had given me.

Hey there,

I'm Travis. I'm a software engineer working in the robotics spaces. I have the privilege of working on a wide breadth of work revolving around robotics and distributed data processing. I really enjoy what I do, and I'm always eager to get involved in new exciting open source projects. I'm currently a core contributor to Youki, a low level container runtime written in Rust.

On my own time I spend a lot of time on a bike. Whether it be mountain biking, gravel biking, or bike commuting.

@ComradePangloss Seems more communal as the networks are separated by a given theme or topic. You get less political, or people on a given network tend to align politically for better or worse. Things tend to be more about the specific topics the community is interested in. I'd assume the vibe changes with each instance, but overall not being lumped into one massive network reduces the chatter, and sub divides the base of trolls into a much smaller more manageable pool, in addition with the fact that each network has it's own set of rules.
