Simply copy and paste the image.
on right side preview of pos, click on image. Select original size, 100%, or 75% or 50% with a single click.
html is too arcane and obtuse for daily use.
also -- the Import tool will brign in an image from your own machine, or from a URL anywhere, without need for downloading it first.

That didn't quite work out as I expected, but it may help others.
So for the forum just use HTML to insert images and control the width (and therefore aspect ratio) of the media.
