Question from this, would removing Section 230 be a good thing ? What would be the implication for the Fediverse?
Would this mean that admins are just simply held more responsible / accountable for content, ?
Which then brings in to play, what would be the difference between self hosting and using a management service.
Would they need to ensure their terms of service hold account holders liable not the management company?

@swiley yeah, well hopefully it will encourage people to do that anyway.
@zleap If it really becomes a problem it will probably get easier to host your own activity pub/stream instances in a way that's compatible with mastodon.
Hopefully mastodon and friends start to add better support for following people using activitystream since that's supposedly hostable via static hosting services which are often free.
