Orange Light Emitting Diodes have now arrived. I can now complete my module that helps to determine Planck's Constant. However before i fire up my soldering iron for this, I am waiting for some 5k potentiometers which I need to complete my little potentiometer board. So may as well solder everything up at the same time.
@freemo THis is a small project to build a modiule to help determine Plankcks Constant.
I got the instructions from http://www.cleapss.org.uk/ who produce resources for schools. The idea is that you power this, up and can light up either the RED Yellow, Orange (Once soldered on) Green and Blue LEDs, the potentiometer (1k) allows brightness to be adjusted, measure voltage across the lED, then from all that + the wavelength of the light (from daa sheet) you can calculate or Plankcs Constant.
I cant' share the instructions as they are copyright, i downloaded this while on work experience at a school as I also downloaded other resources in relation to a short course I did during the work experience.
