If our climate target for global warming is 1.5 degrees C why is the current average temperature for november well above what is normal for this time of year

Huge difference, seems we are currently way off target.

We are still a good few degrees warmer than normal, which while is really nice, is also a worrying sign of global warming generally.
@zleap @climatenews Because the target average is calculated over the year, not just one month.
