@gnome Does anyone know if the Cheese web camp app will be updated to support HD please.
I am asking as it seems it is maintained by the gnome team. I amk also asking as I have a Bresser USB Microscope, which works fine in Cheese, however the microscope supports up to 1080 pictures, but Cheese only goes up to 640x480.

@zleap Another idea: just try out webcamoid. The user interface is a little bit disturbing 😉 , but it's doing a good job. And you can download it as an appimage before you install it https://webcamoid.github.io/
