In Afghanistan, the Taliban's Minister of Education has announced that girls' schools are likely to remain closed permanently.

As a Muslim let me be explicitly clear. This is apartheid, vile, & inexcusable.

Prophet Muhammad(sa) declared, "It is incumbent upon every Muslim male & every Muslim female to attain education." His wife Ayesha was a leading scholar & jurist. His final words were "women are your committed partners." Not servants—PARTNERS.

Taliban terrorists are a stain on humanity.

So what is the response from the Taliban when this is pointed out to them? They claim to follow Islam and the teachings of Muhammad and yet they deny Woman and girls the right to education and other rights, which is in clear violation of the religious values and teachings they claim to follow and protect.

@zleap @QasimRashid That's because of the Sharia loophole. When Islam expanded to its first empire, Sharia was deemed Islamic even when it wasn't, to serve the purpose of permitting cultural diversity.

Ah just re-read that and it makes sense. So interpret something to fit the agenda, not much different to other religions than.
