It's learn by example. How is that low that low effort? You watch it being made, you see the end result, and then it gets compared to other dishes.

@lucifargundam @2ck if you're following along and/or it includes proper instructions I guess, but watching video is a passive activity

You could either write down, memorize or follow along with the instructions. I wouldnt be watching a show on how to make pancakes or cupcakes or scrambled eggs. I would be watching for genious-level stuff that would be hard to find in most restraunts.

@izaya Bon Appetit at least actually has your typical written recipe to accompany some of their YouTube vids. it's how i learned to make red lentil and parsley fritters @lucifargundam
