I wonder what percentage of people who think gender-affirming surgery is unnecessary and barbaric also think that circumcisions are perfectly fine...

@LouisIngenthron I'm not a fan of circumcisions (it's an archaic ritual) or the involuntary surgeries done on intersex children around birth (they're often for the worse due to this).
By the way, these bills you mentioned have exemptions for these very cases involving intersex children.

Not me, I am the reverse.. I think gender reassignment surgery is perfectly ok so long as the child requests it and seems of sound mind... On the other hand I dont think circumcision is acceptable because it is usually done before a child has a chance to consent and without purpose.
