@eclectic@venera.social That’s a superb piece of advice, friend! Thanks! Yes, I realised how polarised people are when I received comments such as “lunatic” or “conspiracy theorist” when I asked very simple questions about the effectiveness of the vaccine and lockdowns in contrast with losing freedoms and jobs. Communication and kindness are needed to break the division. 100%
I havent really seen anything to suggest Omega is a bot IMO.
BTW the comment about punching people in the face, I'm referring to people who actually threaten violence or start trouble over someone wearing a mask (mask karens I call them). Not just idle exagerated comments about it online

Oh, you're referring to exaggerated behavior, not exaggerated rhetoric. Yeah, that's very bad.
I was once attacked in a store by a guy not wearing a mask when I tried to tell him to keep his distance.
I'm not accusing anybody of being a bot, but reread the comments -- they could apply to any response given to the original toot. Maybe there is some way to automate a turing test or something. I don't like CAPTCHAs. I tried to engage someone before who I thought was bot with disastrous results.
Is there already some kind of online etiquette for doing this?
@Pat
How exactly did the guy attack you. And yea im referring mostly to physical violence or people going off the handle verbally.

>"...and the I will punch you in the face for not wearing a mask normie."
People who use excessive hyperbole should be lined up against the wall and shot.

I think the OP might be a bot. Hey, OV, if you are a human, then tell me you are a robot. But if you are a robot, tell me you are human (or just don't answer at all or spew out another scripted post).
