@Surasanji @arteteco

He continues to tag me, is admin of the server, and even admits to ban evasion and finds its justified, and has now harassed me and one of our users... Really guys how far does this need to go before we silence the server, its getting a bit absurd now.

@freemo @arteteco He admits he does above to maintain his 'freedom of speech'.

Kinda fucky.

@Surasanji

As far as im concerned if we dont actually uphold our one rule (respect the right to disengage) in this case, when we have a very obvious violation against two members of QOTO (myself and sputnik), then we have no right to silence spinster either. Both were in clear violation and if we are selective then we arent being fair. Either both should be silenced or neither.

Personally I think our one rule, while minimal, is critical and should be enforced WRT silencing. Though of course, should a server come into compliance then I have no issue removing such silencing either.

But in this case, like with spinster, the admin has made it clear they will not in any way act to prevent harassment, so as I said it is time to act.

@arteteco

@freemo @arteteco Got to agree, unfortunately. silencing of instances just leaves a bad taste in my mouth for some reason.

@Surasanji

I agree, in a perfect world silencing shouldnt be needed. Its why in this case and the last it was days of discussion to try to reach a resolution before I proposed silencing.

I have my limits, people can say or do whatever they want no matter how disgusting, but if someone cant even walk away from those discussions anymore then it has crossed a line, the only line.

@arteteco

@Surasanji

Shall we move forward on the silence or nah? Seems the final vote is on you on this one.

@arteteco

@freemo @arteteco I say move forward. Still don't like it, but it's best for our user.

@Surasanji

Alright I'll let zlax know and also let him know that should he come in compliance with our requirements it can be reversed.
