@bibliolater @bookstodon I've done this for years, I love it! Mainly it is for me, but I quite often refer colleagues to specific reviews for work related things or common interests. Traffic is pretty low, and I make no money off it but I haven't really tried https://ianhopkinson.org.uk/

It's where some people moved from substack, and wordpress parent company generated a lot of controversy recently. And both are possible to self-host, if you want.
