being over 30 surely doesn't help with noticing covid symptoms.. something always aches 😬

@bonifartius It's quite a fun ride for me with my chronic sinus issues. 😬

@trinsec @bonifartius imagine if you had a low constitution or had multiple children who often contract ailments. Or if you worked in a field that naturally put your immune system at risk without healthcare insurance compensation.

@lucifargundam sure, i'm well off in comparison. it's just interesting how much more i notice these small aches now @trinsec

@bonifartius
The International Association for the Study of Pain defines hyperesthesia as “increased sensitivity to stimulation, excluding the special senses,” which “may refer to various modes of cutaneous sensibility including touch and thermal sensation without pain, as well as to pain.”

Tldr::: everything hurts, I want to die.

@lucifargundam nah, it's not that extreme. it's just difficult sometimes to distinguish between "i've slept in a wrong position and now my back feels shit", "i'm stressed and have a light headache", etc. and "might be a cold/flu/whatever". it's not all the time, just more often than at twenty ;)

@bonifartius
I've abused my body enough times not to tell a problem from a passive circumstance. I need to take care of it for a while so it can recover from whatever.
