I really miss women right now...

Putting aside the fact that they are of course very beautiful, I miss their down to earth sweetness and accessibility.

Once a week I would often go into the city and find a coffee shop to sit down in and practice my calligraphy in a corner somewhere. Usually one to three times some beautiful angel of a women would come up and sweetly compliment my hand writing or start up a conversation.

American women are almost confrontational and many try to be "untouchable" and are offended if you even say hi to them...

I miss the Dutch.

@freemo Different cultures all together. I would always feel out of place in the US, and wanting out (it has happened).

Lovely description of the ladies. I have similar experiences with other European ladies, a smile and charm doesn't mean licensiosity for them.

@design_RG American people are, for the most part, intolerable. Its a recent development since 911 onward getting worse each year. Its a direct result, or at least linked closely to, the political extremism that has developed causing polarization of groups.

while the USA has some amazing historic and present laws, rights, and philosophy of governance that deserves respect and appreciation sadly its people have lost their way and over time have been eroding those laws and rights too. The whole thing is a shit show sadly.

@design_RG I find many european woman, and women from many parts of the world, all lovely in their own way (its not hard to beat out americans, male or women)...

Ukrainians I love for their "no rules" humor and crass attitude, Italian women tend to be fiery but motherly, they make their boundaries clear but are sweet all the same, Tunisians are more reserved and proper but seem to have a wonderful ability to respect and integrate with other cultures while sharing their own.

I have a close Tunisian friend, beautiful woman inside and out. She is muslim so many of the things I would find normal would not be acceptable to them of course, yet as long as we both respect each others culture I am welcomed into their home as if I were family. Here I am a heathen who wouldnt think twice about a one-night stand sexual encounter or hitting up a strip club, and I'm welcomed as a brother into a home where even the slightest sexualization would be uncool.

As a man sometimes it can be quite wonderful to connect to a culture through their women. But I guess women just have that sort of magic about them in any culture.
