Some ideas:
- Try posting at different times of day. Not everyone is in the same timezone as you.
- Post about STEM subjects, or go to an instance tailored to what you want to discuss.
- Look at which hashtags are popular to see what topics might be interesting to a wider audience.
- Go back and delete your "if you like X, don't talk to me" posts.
- Participate in other threads to advertise your presence so others know to follow you.

I think most of the issue is just that Snow uses harsh exclusionary language. It drives most people away.

Its how I perceive it. I need to consciously fight disliking snow when I read it, and then i tell myself that english isnt her first language, and well, I could always be misunderstanding. But the way its worded and my gut reaction is always like "wow did she really just say that".
Like you said though I think its mostly just a language thing, but I'm not sure. She seems well meaning, just has different culture too so I have to be mindful of the fact that there is some of that there I need to understand first.
Either way my point is, to a native english speaker, it doesn't translate too well sometimes :) but I love ya anyway.

I think you have a point there - maybe it's unintentional, a cultural thing, a difference of language but I do see some of that aspect.
Since I know Snow from other talks here I know it's not meant to offend, but it could be perceived otherwise by other people.
This thread was quite active too, so something worked on this case! :)
