So tomorrow I vote in the and honestly I can't decide who I'm going to vote for. I keep going back and forth, I've never been so conflicted at a presidential election...

@mur2501 Not sure why you'd say that. I have never once said I was pro-trump. In fact every time I talk about the evils of biden I make it a point to highlight that I think trump is pretty shitty too.

@freemo
I am pro-trump or pro-anything, well you have two garbage options and from what you have said till now maybe you will go with Trump. This doesn't means you are pro him, elections are for people to choose it's not about selecting the best rather about people making the choice so you go with biden or trump the spirit of the election is not in what you choose but that you can choose.

@mur2501 Well those are hardly my only two options. We have four parties on the ballot and the third party options this year are excellent choices as well.

Since I **can** choose third party it is on the list of considerations.

I have never voted republican a day in my life yet. So if i were to vote Trump it would be an unusual exception to my pattern.

@freemo
Ofcourse if you feel you should go with the two non mainstream options though you also the chance of them winning is almost zero but if you feel you should.

You break the pattern :blobcat:
But whatever, you vote so you choose(not me)

@arteteco Jo Jergensen is one of choices i keep waffling between.. Jo is clearly the best candidate on the ballot

@freemo @arteteco Not sure if they have them this year, but in 2016 they had vote trading websites where people in swing states could swap votes with people in solid-(blue|red) states.

If you're in a swing state but want to vote 3rd party, you find someone in an "uncontested" state who wants to vote mainstream. They vote for your chosen candidate and you vote for theirs.

I don't remember if there was any mechanism for enforcement (though I imagine there can't be — anything that can be used to enforce a vote trade could also be used to use violence or payment to influence votes).

@pganssle

Yes I saw that as well.. that site is down this year and i have yet to find an alternative though sadly.

@arteteco

@freemo @arteteco This one seems active this year: votepact.org

Though you have to find your own person to pair up with.
