Have you ever been to a play or movie with an intermission?

@freemo
Les Miserables at the Fox Theater in Atlanta. Also a bunch of Broadway shows, but Les Miserables was my absolute favorite... wait... unless Chekov's Three Sisters in Little Rock, AR and the Red Army Choir was there for the music... it was... beautiful!

@herag I should have done two versions of yes, one for theater and one for movies. I suspect anyone who has been to any theater has had an intermission but there are very few movies with intermissions outside of some classical ones.

@freemo
I think when I saw Citizen Kane there was an intermission... I can't remember though. I saw it at a little theater down an alley in Paducah, KY. Haha...

@freemo Does watching the original Ben-Hur on dvd at home count?

@freemo Kenneth Branagh's Hamlet was four hours long, so yeah, it had an intermission. Same with 2001, even though it was only 142 minutes long.

@freemo Many cinemas in Switzerland still insert an intermission into movies (which is delightfully discordian -- it confuses the heck out of people who have no clue why the movie is stopped in the ~middle).

@robryk As long as they keep intermissions out of porn then I approve of this :)
