Seems we are still in a minor surge right now.. just checked and current influx is about 2x the normal background rate...

@magicaltrout We could easily handle 10x our user base, we have some pretty beefy servers.
@freemo , I have been offering this server as a STEM choice on the bird app. Trying to get more like minded nerds in my local feed. :)

@TimothyLaurent the ego of that man to think that everyone follows him and interacts with him and isnt somehow biased to be just the people prone to agree with him... but yea, that could be why :)
