I used to check in on twitter once a week or so just to see my notifications and if anyone reached out to me to respond... I have a few thousand followers and would get a few notifications a week so it was worth the effort.
Since musk took over my notifications and declined to a crawl. Now week after week I have consistently no notifications. As a result I check my twitter less and less and even find myself just closing the tab and forgetting about it for long periods.
Im pretty sure im not the only one and twitter is quickly dieing.
@freemo so did Musk intentionally scuttle the ship? If so he must have a financial exit strategy that doesn't involve him being broke and possibly charged with fraud.
@mike805 Cant imagine how that could be to his advantage with so much money invested.
How would he cashout by doing that? What is this master plan where buying an overpriced company and then crashing its value is somehow in his interest?
@lucifargundam Im sure he has advisors that do.. Im skeptical it was ever intentional.
All the red flags are nearly literally plain to see.
@lucifargundam such as?
@freemo @lucifargundam How to make a million dollars...
Plummeting userbase, defecting advertisers, having laid off a majority of the company.
Myspace died with better grace.
@freemo @mike805
Musks plans to deliberately make Twitter fail and cash out are backfiring.
