1) Open-source
2) open-format and standards
3) dont :)
@LouisIngenthron It does yea, not saying open-source always means the best.
But open-source does tend to mean freedom, which means it tends to use open-standards and no lockin so you can generally move products easier.. And of course if you need something enough you can always add it yourself.
The reason i put it as #1 is because it tends to include #2 by default.
@freemo Yep, open source definitely has its own problems, but it still generally comes out on top.
