Fair points about #rich and #population not always the direct problem...

I think the answer is "a mixture of both sides" and "both sides" are correct as the answer.

Here's my case, if you want to helps us both in answering:

⭐ 1/ Do you accept more people (children) = more pollution (yes a bit / not all),

If not, then not sure what to say more.

i.e. more people = more energy

(doesn't me 0 children in future but the above is true, yes?)

(children need more food / fuel-powered 'stuff', tons of accessories etc)

2/ If you are blaming rich people and not the medium-rich or anyone with monetary power (even the poor) then I'm not sure what to say as ALL have to some extent power to how they spend money (some rich or poor simply don't care enough)

Conclusion - while children might be good or a right, also choosing consciously is a right when we have enough children and adults (x3 total population since only 100 years which effects everyone no matter where you are as it's a knock on energy (war) effect for resources).

When you create children you create opportunity FOR #CAPITALISM and NEED later for them to go to #bad companies / corporation and feed off #monopolies / #monocrops etc who ALL do the climate change for them / us

So you skip that by skipping children OR JUST HAVING LE$$ - maybe this wasn't clear at beginning. Not saying 0 or no children.

BUT it's THEIR PROJECTIONS / measurement BASED ON numbers that they burn (i.e. if there were 1billion less they would burn less or doesn't make sense to spend more if nobody uses it)

But people have to go work for someone or else die right (from lack of money). This is current system...
