> the best part is you can just see the feminist studies diversity hire woman they hired to write this script
> "make sure you include the core values"
> "yes xir"
I hate the pronouns including the usage of "They" it's painful to say and write, but i recognize the pain from misgendering of people with gender dysphoria
@numberonedonaldtrumpfan @JSDorn @borzoi @cosmo
> some of you care way too much tbh fam
it's not too much care.. it's basic human decency to recognize gender dysphoria
@Elfman @numberonedonaldtrumpfan @borzoi @cosmo @JSDorn
Feel free to propose a better solution until then this is the best we can do.

> People should be on hormonal medications permanently with horrific consequences for hormonal systems, bone density, etc
Do you have any credible research on that?
> People should be surgically castrated
> People should be surgically mutilated
yes that's the current treatment for gender dysphoria
> The rest of society should pretend that these people are the gender they cosplay as (gaslight everybody into compliance - "trans women are real women" is literally not true)
Using an uncomfortable pronoun to people with gender dysphoria inflicts a mental pain on them.. I am not aware of any alternative solution to that and personally i don't mind using the pronoun on which they look i just really hate `they/them` and `xe/xhe` and shit alike.
> Try exercise
i am not against that as i am not aware of a case where exercise wouldn't have a positive effect on the overall health.
> anti-psychotic medication, therapy or personal growth into faith
Agree that this feels unethical
> Nobody should have to participate in your delusion
i agree that none should be forced into a certain behavior what i argue for is for them to understand why is that expected from them so that they can make an informed decision.
@TinyFern @numberonedonaldtrumpfan @borzoi @cosmo @Elfman @JSDorn
Why is it unethical to continue with the current treatment for gender dysphoria by giving the affected people the option of a reconstructive surgery if it enables them to have a close to normal life instead of being locked up in a mental hospital?
> Oh this person is anorexic, we need to ~respect their view of themselves as a fat person~ and help them lose weight through liposuction until they're at their ideal body shape (i.e. starved to death)
I don't have a political opinion on that subject and i highly doubt that any licensed surgeon would proceed with liposuction on a malnurished patient (hypocratic oath).
> Oh this person has Munchausen syndrome, we should treat all their imagined illnesses because we can't possibly contradict their ~profound understanding of themselves~ so I guess we give them chemo and antibiotics until they die of complications.
I am not against giving Munchausen patient sugar pills and making them feel like we are curing the disease that they are convinced that they do e.g. instead of chemo giving them a ringer with laxative and things to make them feel bad or even other medication so that they temporarely lose hair and feel like they are going through a chemo on an imaginary cancer.
Like why would i be against it? It seems to have a major positive impact on their mental health that enables them to manage it..
> It's not about respecting trans people, it's about gaslighting you until you agree that objective reality is less important than their feelings.
Like if a patient with a mental disorder prefers to live in their own bubble with a distorted reality to manage their disease than why should I not support it assuming that it has a positive effect on their mental health.

> Why is it unethical? Because a man cannot become a woman and a woman cannot become a man. You take someone who could be saved and damn them to a lifetime as an abomination.
I don't find it ethical to force such medical procedure on someone what i am doing is to provide my point of view and informations i know about it for the invidual in question to make an informed decision. If you have info that you think that they should know about then consider contributing that to a wikipedia.
@Crux_Invictus @numberonedonaldtrumpfan @borzoi @cosmo @Elfman @JSDorn @TinyFern
My view is that we lack the required technological and medical knowledge to make a full gender transition, but i also don't find it ethical not use the preferred gender of the relevant transwoman/man

you can quite easily change the form of a clay after it was shaped and dried to pretty much indefinetly as long as it's hydrated enough.
It gets complicated when you apply a glaze on it as that then has to be broken off in other to shape the clay..
@Crux_Invictus @numberonedonaldtrumpfan @borzoi @cosmo @Elfman @JSDorn @TinyFern
it's not forcibly remaking it.. the wet clay binds to each other so it's just utilizing the available resources and forming it to do the desired workload.
@Crux_Invictus @numberonedonaldtrumpfan @borzoi @cosmo @Elfman @JSDorn @TinyFern
If it's just clay without additives that is not glazed then yes without major problems as long as it's allowed to hydrate in a water for few hours.. The clay then turns into a play-doh like consistency and can be shaped again.
@Tripp @numberonedonaldtrumpfan @borzoi @cosmo @Crux_Invictus @Elfman @JSDorn @TinyFern
Clay by itself doesn't turn into a solid when you put it into a kilm.. they have to add additives for it to have glass translation temperature instead of turning into a crumbly dirt.
@Tripp @numberonedonaldtrumpfan @borzoi @cosmo @Crux_Invictus @Elfman @JSDorn @TinyFern
lol did you even tried that?
I utilize this with making CAD designs by using clay and then constraining the shape using a hot air station to design ergonomic designs.
I agree that this is not possible with clay that has additives.
It is monstrously cruel to entertain these delusions. Putting feathers on a dog does not make it a bird.
