TL;DR:
1. I am centrist excluding technoliberalism in Scientific fields.
2. I watch MSM, but i do not trust them and i do my own research in the subject when it interests me while maintaining open-mind to discuss the subject
3. I am not against escalation of a protest that started as peaceful as long as no harm or threat is posed on other citizens e.g. letting them sleep at night
4. I am in support of improving policies by CA government if better solution is provided.

In my current political view:

No, i am in favor of peaceful protests, if these fail to achieve the desired effect then i am not against escalation.

But I also highlight that it's important to get a sufficient representation of the affected group so if it's a minority of the people representing the relevant group (transport industry in this case) then i do not find it justifiable for the protest to escalate.

And in case of violence i currently only approve of an economical damage and property, the violence should _NEVER_ be taken against other people and to pose a harm or threat on their life e.g. honking in the night so that they can't sleep which is the major thing for me to condemn it and support sending national guard.

For a context the BLM protest that broke businesses and lit cars on fire.
Back then i was against it, but after i recognized the importance for the required action to be taken so i am currently in support of such protests as long as harm and/or threat is not imposed on other citizens.

Note that this only includes US, EU, CA and UK i don't affiliate myself with internal politics of other counties so i won't comment on protests such as Kazakhstan.

I am not against improving the policies as long as better solution is proposed, but that is for local political parties to address. If you have a better solution then consider getting in touch with them or with people who are affiliated with government to propose such solution.

Yes i watch MainStream Media ("MSM"), but i do not trust them. I do my best to look at the info provided from multiple sources, ask relevant people on the subject if it interests me and i am doing my best to keep an open-mind to address any misinformation thus i asked people here in https://qoto.org/web/statuses/107763718963156342 and took the information provided to make my statement + got in contact with canadian citizens in the area and asked them.

To clarify i am against all protests that cause harm to other people, animals (and androids when we get to that point), but i am not against non-fatal violence e.g. property damages, looting, etc.. if their claim is valid and the government too corrupt to listen so i supported BLM when it started peacefully and supported it until the violence got excessive and the demands changed into an unreasonable black supremacy and racism.

i currently apply the same logic for all other protests.

@kreyren @josemanuel I think the US government is too corrupt, but BlackLivesMatter is just another pawn in their game. If there is something the government wants, it is more power over its people because unlike a foreign country the US government can not deploy an army or bomb its own people/subjects.
There are two major obstacles to govt. power which is the 1st and 2nd Amendment rights of the people. If a conviction had been secured against Kyle Rittenhouse, it for example would be a case that seriously undermined self-defense.

The problem with enforcing it in a health care is being able to prove it so if you are concerned about the medical professional who is handling you then bring a witness with you.

But i do agree that this shouldn't be an issue in a health care as either the nurse or the doctor usually take an action if something unethical is happening.

@kreyren No, they don't really. I just stay away because they can argue they were technically following protocol set by the national medical association (something they abide to more than the Oath; which isn't taken anymore in most medical schools upon graduation anyway).
I don't even know if the Oath is even relevant to dentists, optometrists, therapists, psychologists, biochemists, biomedical corporations anyone/thing who isn't exactly a medical doctor but you can find within or dealing business with a healthcare facility.

@antares I think that you are misinformed hippocratic oath is taken at all unis that i checked in the last hour and it's violation will revoke the doctor's license depending on how severe it is.

E.g. unintentionally infection the patient vs intentionally harming the patient.

Like anyone can claim themselves to be dentist, optometrists, etc.. thus why i said _licensed_ medical professional.

@kreyren I don't know where you live, but the Hippocratic Oath or a modified version definitely isn't taken globally. (I looked it up, and barely half of the medical schools in the US use it; less than 2% use the original version.)

I talked about that with a relevant medical professional in the US who seems to say the same thing (oath is either not taken, they use modified version and minority uses the original), but it doesn't mean that they can engage in unprofessional, dishonorable or unethical conduct so even if they don't take the oath is integrated in the state law + you are still liable for criminal law violations.

Additionally i was told by relevant 3 medical professionals in the US that they would never vaccinate someone who does not agree with it citing that it's unethical and violates 14th ammendment.

So legally it depends how well can your elected officials and you defend yourself legally.

So i guess point being: Licensed medical professionals are not going to vaccinate you if you do not consent to it and you are protected by 14th ammendment on the subject, but 3rd party might legally bully you into submission.

Hi. My bad experience with medical professionals isn't from the current issue of the covid vaccine. Maybe that's how the conversation started; I recall I jumped in because I was sick of people citing the Hippocratic Oath to re-affirm a general trust in medical professionals. (Judging by your posting times, I assume you are in Europe.)
A medical professional is just another human being. I don't consider them "the moral paragons of society"; definitely, not from personal experience I won't go into further detail about. Even if they took the Hippocratic Oath verbatim, the Oath itself has shortcomings I take issue with.

@antares Yes i am from EU and i find it very surpricing that US is redefining hippocratic oath as from my medical studies (i halted the schoolarship due to the covid) i was constantly reminded about the oath and that i have to follow it to what almost felt like a cult.

But it seems that the oath is implemented in the US law and it still seems enforced while addressing the ethical questions about abortion, etc..

The US has a funny history of medical scandals, fraud, and abuse. Some of which are not classified as illegal despite being a betrayal to the patient. There is no way you are going to convince me to trust a medical professional just because of the codes and regulations surrounding the medical industry. So if this is what you're going for, just stop. I lived in the US my entire life and know how my family members have also been treated. One internet discussion is just not going to change that.

@antares I am not trying to convince you, more like trying to understand the situation in the US so that i can adjust my politics if it is this unethical as it seems.
