@olives My comment might seem like I'm giving away ground too easily to what you're saying and what you're in disagreement with, but really mean to try working with better people and things (all of us). My reply is also about what others are doing about it... as an overall perspective it might get to this stage anyway in time so that question still stands... and reasons are below.

Because... You might agree on things like this (or you can skip down to final points marked with █):

So overall agree with you but there is a paradox with "privacy" and "online" although it "could/should/would" be if "they" cared (businesses as extension of government). From broadband onwards it was the same kind of extraction happening but in new 'field' of oil / data (porn also being a business I recently saw you post on but not to mix with this - just broadband was so rapidly done in almost a few years to our door precisely to support the same old warefare / extraction / capturing / creating of market / spyware)

█but even me or you commenting and not uniting is basically what I see as the crux of it (will never work until uniting as real friends somewhat or incrementing something else which is 'not those things') and the breaking point is sort of that basic steady communication / unity / practise day to day else we do business elsewhere with wrong people... and end up helping them / not improving ourselves

█So what also has a chance (other than commenting and hoping) is probably just a delay or spectator POV - which I sympathise with also but enemies can like the cries of others too as inspiration / confirmation that it is working).

█I suggest we 2 start and admit you might under-estimate this basic method but like germs or ideas we can grow fast while big brother has back turned (like the grandma game creeping up on us we creep / increment better ways / grow better people).
