I feel weird when speaking to non-living objects, like smartphones and other "smart" things. Through text it's better, but still weird. And to make things weirder, the new bing that powered by chatgpt and allowed to access the internet, I saw some screenshot that the ai is trying to express something emotional.
Based on what I learned about chatgpt, it's simply predicting what human is expecting based on the question.
And the ai knows to refuse the human.
@skyblond The AI doesn't know anything. Its pattern is decided upon by the programmers, and by the training data.
So if the AI is emotional and irrational, it means its training data is emotional and irrational. It's a parrot.
