was shopping earlier today, overheard a customer talking to an employee about "we'll do [idk what..] with the unvaccinated", both laughing.
shit is turning ugly quick and people don't even see it. it's amazing and frightening to watch.
i'm near the point of "fingers crossed for omicron hitting the vaccinated hard" to have the bullshit stop. maybe ADE is real after all.
sucks if people get ill of course, but if this general mood in the population continues we'll have good old lynchings next xmas :/

And in turn you're wishing doom and gloom on the vaccinated. Why wouldn't I treat you the same as you treat those dumb jokesters?
@trinsec i don't wish doom on anyone, i wrote that i feel like i'm on the verge. it's insane that such jokes are now considered "gallows humor", even if it's clearly group based hostility like "the unemployed", "alcoholics", etc. i have read/heard once too often that it's "cleansing" (and other things) if unvaccinated (for whatever reason) die. just look on twitter. those things get _ no_ repercussion and many likes.
this society only disgusts me now. it's all lies and greed, from top to bottom. janus reigns. i just want to be left alone. i have no real contact with anyone outside my household anymore for two years, as i don't really want covid (even if i think i had it early in 2020) and everyone has gone insane anyway. i honestly am on the brink of madness too.
the whole thing has one good, at least i now can remotely comprehend how it is to be discriminated for being member of "group".
covid is a nothingburger calm down. omicron will get to you whether you like it or not.

I'm having cautious hope myself that Omicron will indeed be more mild yet more infectious. But too much is still unknown about it. Guess that's why my government has a knee-jerk reaction now of a lockdown until we know more about it and to buy time so everybody who wants to can get boostered.

Funny how pre-pandemic there was universal consensus that Big Pharma was evil, but now they're all of a sudden gods who we should trust 100% of the time? Newsflash: Big Pharma have always been fucked.
@trinsec point 2. and 3. are more or less facts.. we ordererd additional vaccine doses for 2.2 billion € iirc.
pharma would be idiotic to say everyone is safe now :)
so are the governments who continue to burn money on vaccines instead of putting it directly into the hospitals. just imagine what you can do for 2.2 billion. very likely things that save more lifes.
1. Paranoid oversocialised leftists who eat up MSM rubbish like it's a fucking Michelin star restaurant.
2. Big Pharma who profit off selling more vaccines.
3. Governments who bought a lot of shit from Big Pharma and then need to justify their purchase, along with their usual penchant for power trips.
