wait... I just noticed a subscribe button on someone's profile in addition to the "follow" and now I'm confused. What's the difference?

@worldsendless subscribe brings their public posts into your home timeline. It does not notifying them that you are following, nor will it let you view follower only posts or other non-public posts. It is used if you want to follow someone without giving away you are following (useful for bad actors you want to keep an eye on such as doxers)
