Unfortunately, I see no way to follow a tag, but as long as you remember to include the tag in your post all that gets posted against it will be searchable at least.
I am still looking to see more languages, and/or feedback on the entries we have so far. Also, anyone you know that is interested feel free to share it with them.
By the way, I updated my attempt to have a cleaner output by building up a tuple to pass to the print statement so I didn't need multiple output lines.
And thanks @freemo for the gitlab space.
@freemo how does one do that?
@Absinthe I think you can only have one timeline specific to all the tags you follow. As such id have to destroy my current one and start over to figure out where in the menu it is. I'll do that on one of the bot accounts for you when i get a chance and let ya know the steps.
@freemo so it is not as simple as just following it like you would a person?
@Absinthe No, you create a column in the UI (just like you have one for home, local timeline, etc), then you click the icon in the upper right that looks like sliders. Then you can configure what hashtags show in that column.
@freemo I only have one column. When I click on Home, Notifications, Local etc... it changes what is shown in that column
@Absinthe Sounds like you didnt turn on the advanced UI in your settings
@freemo I see your pinning idea works ok over on LinuxRocks, but not on this instance. I guess the UI here (which I prefer) is different OOB
@Absinthe You can follow a tag, i have a dedicated column that i use to follow a few dozen tags.
